Assignment 9: Portfolio
Introduction:
A Portfolio is a showcase of selected works, designed for an interview or quick exhibit to a potential client. It may come in various hard copies depending on the format of the print or on the sheer detail of drawings you require to show during the meet.
Objective:
Develop an understanding of the basic composition in producing presentation drawing.
Learning Outcome:
On successful completion of this module the student will be able to:
CLO 1: Communicate design idea & process using freehand sketching & rendering techniques to signify elements of architectural sketches in expressing ideas.
CLO 2: Produce & explore architectural model making technique using basic tools & materials
CLO 3: Draw and compose two dimensional 2D & 3D orthographic drawings with correct architectural drafting symbol & a working knowledge of manual drafting equipment.
Task 1 : Design Communication FOLIO
You will need to compile all your DESIGN COMMUNICATION work as a FOLIO and put inside A3 clear folder.
The assignments should be arranged according to your teaching plan. With a proper cover, and separator as stated below:

Orthographic Projections
-Object on cartridge paper
-Layout Plan on cartridge paper - Draft
-Layout Plan on tracing paper

-Paraline Projections – Isometric
-Paraline Projections Oblique on cartridge paper - Draft
-Paraline Projections Oblique on tracing paper
-One-point Perspective – photograph & estimation method
-Two-point Perspective – photograph & estimation method
-One-point Perspective – Freehand (Living or bedroom area)
Presentation Drawing
-Model Making – Grouping (Pictures)
-Presentation Drawing – Design integration
